Electra ultra-fast charging stations: direct connection to Chargemap

The Electra network is set to conquer France with the opening of its first ultra-fast charging station in Aubervilliers. Backed by an ambitious development plan, the network is planning on becoming a key stakeholder in the rapid-charging landscape. We are therefore very happy to announce the direct connection between Chargemap and Electra. The aim? To facilitate access to rapid charging by offering the best possible experience to electric vehicle drivers. And all this with no mark-up on the network price.

At the current time, one Electra charging pool has been rolled out in the region of Paris. But the ultra-fast charging network is all set to embark on some impressive development projects. In the third quarter of 2022, Electra is planning on going from strength to strength by rolling out two charging stations per month, gearing up to one charging station per week by the end of the year. The network’s target is to set up more than 1000 charging stations by 2030.

“We are really happy to be collaborating with Electra, as they share our vision of offering the best charging experience to the greatest number of EV users. We are convinced that Chargemap users will appreciate the quality of Electra’s rapid charging network and their attractive pricing system. The ambitious roll-out plans for the next few months will turn this network into a key stakeholder in the charging landscape.” Yoann Nussbaumer, Chargemap CEO.

“We are delighted to have entered into this partnership which will give Chargemap users access ultra-fast charging at the very heart of towns and cities. We are also putting our technology and expertise at the service of charging for everyone, offering an easy, reliable customer experience at a highly competitive price.” Aurélien de Meaux, Electra CEO.
