2025 ranking of the best charging networks
We’re off to a great start this year with Chargemap’s annual rankings* of the best networks where you can charge in 2025. This ranking is based on feedback from over 132,000 unique users, with a total of 460,000 ratings collected on the Chargemap platform in 2024. Without further ado, here are the results for France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain!
Top 10 best charging networks in France
Chargemap highlights the networks that provide an outstanding charging experience for electric vehicle drivers. Tesla Superchargers claims the top spot, closely followed by Fastned, praised for its ultra-rapid charging stations and reliable service. Electra, who is expanding rapidly, secures third place with its modern infrastructure and commitment to service quality.
The best charging networks in Belgium
In Belgium, EnergyDrive takes the lead thanks to its efficient infrastructure, consistent service quality, and attractive pricing. Electra ranks second, while Fastned completes the top three, maintaining its reputation for speed and reliability.
The best charging networks in Switzerland
In Switzerland, Fastned ranks first, celebrated for its dependable ultra-rapid chargers. Tesla Superchargers take second place, offering consistent performance and great value. BKW Smart Energy & Mobility AG claims third, standing out with its tailored services and reliability.
The 10 networks offering the best charging experience in Germany
In Germany, Solid GmbH / Ladeverbund Franken leads the pack with its high-performance and reliable infrastructure. Tesla Superchargers come in second, followed by IONITY in third, which impresses with its expansive and premium infrastructure.
The 10 best networks for charging in the Netherlands
Tesla Superchargers tops the list in the Netherlands, offering fast and reliable charging combined with excellent value. GreenFlux secures second place, recognized for its flexibility and innovative solutions. Fastned rounds out the top three with its trusted ultra-rapid charging options.
The top 10 best charging networks in Italy
Electra takes the crown in Italy, thanks to its top-tier infrastructure, reliable service, and competitive pricing. Tesla Superchargers follows in second place, while IONITY completes the podium.
Top 10 charging networks offering the best user experience in Spain
Powerdot leads the ranking in Spain, offering a winning mix of high-performance infrastructure, consistent service, and competitive value. Tesla Superchargers secures the second spot, while Allego rounds off the top three with its broad coverage and efficient services.

Methodology
*The rankings of the best networks were drawn up on the basis of 460,000 reviews left by Chargemap users on the various charging networks, from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 inclusive. They take into account the overall charging experience.
To avoid excessive statistical discrepancies and ensure a consistent average rating:
- the ranking in France is based on a minimum of 1000 ratings collected over this period for a charging network.
- the rankings in Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy are based on a minimum of 100 ratings collected over this period for a charging network.
- the ranking in Spain is based on a minimum of 50 ratings collected over this period for a charging network.
