EVBox network: 24,000 charging points directly connected to Chargemap

We promised you a great surprise about new networks in November. And a promise is a promise! So we are pleased to announce an exclusive partnership between the EVBox charging network and Chargemap. The Dutch charging solution provider has opened up access to 23,979 charging points for Chargemap Pass users via a direct connection.

Charging on the EVBox network with the Chargemap Pass

For Chargemap Pass holders, this collaboration adds no less than 23,979 new compatible charging points. That means your charging spectrum across Europe is really branching out.

Geographical distribution of EVBox charging points

The Dutch charging network covers the whole of Europe. Among the countries best equipped with EVBox charging stations, we can of course quote the Netherlands, but Belgium, Norway, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom also boast their fair share:

  • 🇳🇱 Netherlands: 21,555 charging points
  • 🇧🇪 Belgium: 1,833 charging points
  • 🇳🇴 Norway: 429 charging points
  • 🇫🇷 France: 272 charging points
  • 🇨🇭 Switzerland: 178 charging points
  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom: 126 charging points

To see the network’s full geographical distribution, check out the EVBox map of charging stations compatible with your Chargemap Pass. On the Chargemap mobile app, don’t forget to activate the “Network” filter so that you can display all the charging stations on the EVBox network.

EVBox charging network: direct connection with Chargemap

In addition to becoming compatible with the Chargemap charging card, the EVBox network is also directly connected to our services. This means EVBox data posted up on Chargemap is updated more rapidly, thereby increasing its reliability. Management of your transactions via the Chargemap Pass is also optimised.

In short, this means that the overall service is improved and your charging experience is enhanced when you use the EVBox infrastructure.

For Chargemap, this collaboration was a no-brainer. Through its charging solutions, EVBox aims to “help build a future where everyday transport is reliable and produces zero emissions”. This vision is perfectly in tune with Chargemap’s mission, which consists in “speeding up the adoption of electric vehicles by offering the best charging experience possible”.

“I am delighted with this partnership, which will encourage the installation of charging infrastructures open to the public and contribute to accelerating the coverage of the territory and making life easier for electric vehicle drivers,” said Corinne Frasson, EVBox France Director.

“EVbox’s rollout has been spectacular over the past few years. I am really delighted that this agreement is bringing our two companies even closer together to make charging electric vehicles in Europe ever easier,” declared Yoann Nussbaumer, CEO and founder of Chargemap.
